HOOP! There it is! @ 01:52 pm

aprilsunshine:
Okay this is one for lady scouts!

I don't have a date yet, but I will be hosting a hula hoop-making party and hula hooping contest. Target date will be somewhere in mid-July to mid-August. There will be a prize for first place. $5 materials fee and Potluck.
People completing a hoop will get the Hoop Dreams Badge, which we will make ahead of time and that people can personalize at the event.

Here is the link on how to make the hula hoops. http://www.jasonunbound.com/hoops.html

What do you think? Sorry for all the cross-posting that will now occur.

Email me or glitterpunkin if you need directions to my abode.

glitterpunkin:
Happy First Day of Kwanzaa to all!

Just a reminder that we are having a Kwanzaa Celebration THIS FRIDAY!!!!

Come learn and celebrate with friends and fellow lady scouts about the rich African-American tradition of Kwanzaa. Kwanzaa is a holiday celebrating creativity, reflection, and most importantly, community. This event will be a great way to learn what Kwanzaa is all about and spend some quality time with some quality people.

This event is open to anyone, not just lady scouts. If you are unsure of why you are receiving this email, please send us an email and we will remove you from our list.

When: Friday December 28, 2007
Time: 7pm-9pm
Where: Dolly + April's House
(Send a message for the address)
Bring: A dish to share, an open mind, and some creativity
